HCIS/SAIS Class 1 Chain Link Fence

Wire Dimensions and Tolerances
Line Posts
The length of line posts in HCIS fencing system is 3600 mm and has an outer pipe of 88.9 mm diameter and a thickness of 7.64 mm according to the ASTM F1083 standards sch.80. The posts are at a distance of 3.0meters and are buried 0.9 meter on the ground and 2.7 meters at the surface. These are internally and externally galvanized based on ASTM F1043 and externally surrounded with thermoplastic coating of at least 350 microns in Green RAL 6005.
Corner, End, and Strainer Posts
The HCIS Class 1 fence system contains corner, end, and strainer posts which offer necessary structural support and security. These posts are 3700 mm long with the pipe diameter of 114 mm and a thickness of 8.56 mm and their weight is about 22.32 kg/m. They are manufactured to meet the standards of SCH-80 as stipulated by the ASTM F1083 and have a tensile strength of 48000 psi (330 Mpa) and a yield strength of 30000 psi (205 Mpa).
Fittings
Accessories and fittings to the PVC coated chain link fence (except pipe) are tension bars, tension bands, brace band, line post band, rail end cup and brace rail end cup, truss rod with turnbuckle assembly, barbed/razor arm offset band, post cap (loop/dome), rail sleeve and rail sleeve/coupler. All accessories are PVC coated 10-15 mils in Dark Green RAL 6005, tension bars are galvanized to ASTM A123 and PVC coated.

Chain Link Fabrics
HCIS Class 1 fences are made of vinyl-coated chain of the fabric that is designed to meet the requirements of security and clean site appearance. It is 50 mm in diameter mesh, woven in a continuous form with no splices and top and bottom selvedge twisted and knuckled respectively. It is made of 9-gauge wire, PVC fusion bonded to ASTM 668 Class 2B, uniformly galvanized to ASTM 641 Class 1, and it has a coating of 0.20 mm (8 mil) of PVC. RAL 6005;
Tension Wire
A tension wire is applied on the bottom edges of the fence to create a high level of horizontal tension and structural stability. This wire eliminates the problem of sagging and the fence retains its integrity when it is exposed to the pressure of the wind or rough pounding. The 7-gauge (4.50mm) wire is PVC Fusion Bonded according to conformance ASTM F668, Class-2b and uniformly galvanized according to conformance ASTM A641, Class-1.
Stirrup Wire
The tie wire is made of 9-gauge 3.76/4.2mm Wire that offers a solid support of fixation of mesh panels. It is PVC Fusion Bonded according to ASTM F668, Class-2b and galvanized according to ASTM A641, Class-1 to be very resistant to corrosion. The Fusion Bonded Process which gives the wire its durability consists of 0.20mm (8 mil) of PVC coated on the wire. The normal tie wire colour is Dark Green RAL 6005.
Tie Wire
The tie wire is comprised of 12.5 -gauge (2.5/2.9mm) wire, which provides a strong support of fixing mesh panels. It is PVC Fusion Bonded as per ASTM F668, Class-2b and uniformly galvanized as per ASTM A641, Class-1 to have great resistance against corrosion. The wire is coated with 0.20mm (8 mil) of PVC through the Fusion Bonded Process that makes it durable. Dark Green RAL 6005 is the standard color of the tie wire and it offers long life durability and protection.
Barbed Wire
The HCIS Class 1 Fence system has the ability to incorporate barbed wire in the uppermost part to enhance security. Having 2 strands and a diameter of the strand wire of 12.5 gauge (2.50mm), the sharp, 4-pointed barbs have kept the potential intruders away and made climbing difficult. The barb wire is 14 gauge (2.00mm) and galvanized in accordance with ASTM A121 so that it is long lasting and can withstand corrosion. The barbed wire is fixed in 6 rows on the top of the fence.
Concertina Wire
HCIS Class 1 has 3 rows of concertina razor wire to make it the most effective deterrent. The machine is fabricated to have a diameter of a coil of 600 mm and stainless steel blades (SS304) so as to be durable and corrosion resistance. It has a blade length of 30 mm and 55 loops per coil that ensures good coverage in the device and the coils are joined with clips in each loop to ensure close and solid connections all over the installation.
