Our SAIS Class 4 fences are effective when there is low risk in Saudi Arabia where high-commission security standards are needed. It is made of vinyl-coated chain linked, 50mm diamond mesh, which is continuously woven without splices, with the top selvedge twisted and bottom selvedge knuckled so that it has strength, durability, and corrosion resistance making it the best fabric to use in less sensitive locations that need a strong security.

Wire Dimensions and Tolerances
Line Posts
The SAIS fencing system has a length of line posts of 3600 mm and whose outer pipe is 88.9 mm in diameter and 7.64 mm in thickness as per ASTM F1083 standards. The posts are at a distance of 3.0meters and are buried 0.9 meter on the ground and 2.7 meters at the surface. These are internally and externally galvanized based on ASTM F1043 and externally surrounded with thermoplastic coating of at least 350 microns in Green RAL 6005.
Corner, End, and Strainer Posts
The SAIS Class 4 fence system has corner and end, and strainer posts that provide the required structural stability and security. These are 3700 mm long posts, and have a pipe diameter of 114 mm and a thickness of 8.56 mm and weigh approximately 22.32 kg/m. They are produced to the SCH-80 standards as defined by the ASTM F1083 and a tensile of 48000 psi (330 Mpa) and a yield strength of 30000 psi (205 Mpa). All posts are hot-dipped galvanized and coated with PVC based on ASTM F1083 and offer a long life and corrosion resistance.
Fittings
Accessories and fittings to the PVC coated chain link fence (except pipe) are tension bars, tension bands, brace band, line post band, rail end cup and brace rail end cup, truss rod with turnbuckle assembly, barbed/razor arm offset band, post cap (loop/dome), rail sleeve and rail sleeve/coupler. All accessories are PVC coated 10-15 mils in Dark Green RAL 6005, tension bars are galvanized to ASTM A123 and PVC coated.

Chain Link Fabrics
SAIS Class 4 fences are made of vinyl-coated chain link fabrics with 50mm x 50mm diameter mesh and 9 gauge wire that is strong and durable. The PVC fusion bonded coating (0.20mm thickness) applied is based on ASTM F668, Class-2b and uniform galvanization to ASTM A641, Class-1 standard. The material is 2700mm ( +12mm) high and offers a high level of weather protection. The upper end is twisted and the bottom knuckled so as to provide a secure, durable and attractive solution.
Tension Wire
Tension wire is placed along the bottoms to offer horizontal tension and stability to the fence. This wire prevents the slanting and makes the fence structurally stable when faced with the wind or severe impact. The tension wire is 7 gauge (4.50mm) wire that is PVC fusion bonded in accordance with ASTM F668, Class-2b and uniformly galvanized to ASTM A641, Class-1. The wire is covered with 0.20mm (8 mil) PVC coat in Dark Green RAL 6005 color which makes sure of long life time use and protection.
Stirrup Wire
The tie wire is made of 9-gauge 3.76/4.2mm Wire that offers a solid support of fixation of mesh panels. It is PVC Fusion Bonded according to ASTM F668, Class-2b and galvanized according to ASTM A641, Class-1 to be very resistant to corrosion. The Fusion Bonded Process which gives the wire its durability consists of 0.20mm (8 mil) of PVC coated on the wire. The normal tie wire colour is Dark Green RAL 6005 which is the colour that lasts long and provides protection.
Tie Wire
The tie wire is comprised of 12.5 -gauge (2.5/2.9mm) wire, which provides a strong support of fixing mesh panels. It is PVC Fusion Bonded as per ASTM F668, Class-2b and uniformly galvanized as per ASTM A641, Class-1 to have great resistance against corrosion. The wire is coated with 0.20mm (8 mil) of PVC through the Fusion Bonded Process that makes it durable. Dark Green RAL 6005 is the standard color of the tie wire and it offers long life durability and protection.
Barbed Wire
The SAIS Saudi Arabia Class 4 fence system has barbed wire on the top of the fence which contributes the much needed security. The intrusion and climbing are deterred by the sharp 12.5 gauge (2.50mm) wire with 4 pointed barbs. It has 6 rows of barbed wire that make it difficult to access unwantedly, thus making the fence very secure. The wire is galvanized according to ASTM A121 standards, which give very good protection against corrosion and makes the wire very durable in the long run. This system is intended to be used in high-security settings.
Concertina Wire
SAIS Class 4 has 1 row of concertina razor wire to make it the most effective deterrent.The anti-personnel fence is designed with three rolls of concertina wires on its 3-meter high fences to add to the security. The concertina wire is attached on the top, front and bottom of the fence. The razor tape is manufactured using SS430 stainless steel; with a barb length of 30mm minimum and a wire diameter of 2.50mm. The system consists of CBT-65 concertina wire with galvanized core wire, with a great tensile strength (965 kN/m 2) and a 600mm coil diameter to create a sharp and effective deterrent.
