Welded Mesh Fence 3D50™
The Welded Mesh Fence 3D50™ provides medium-security solutions through its design which enhances durability. The fence consists of 4 to 5mm vertical and horizontal galvanized steel wires formed into a rectangular mesh with 50x200mm dimensions and special 3D reinforcement profile. The fencing system represents an affordable choice that works well in extensive areas in place of chain-link fences.
Components of Welded Mesh Fence 3D50™
The HiWeld 3D50™ fencing system comprises three main components: Posts, Panels, and Fittings. Below is a detailed breakdown of each component's specifications:
Posts
Welded Mesh Fence 3D50™ provides the fence structure with support through its hollow steel sections designed for this purpose. Customers can select posts according to their specific needs since they are available in several height and mounting configurations.
Over-length set in the ground
Base plated for bolting onto concrete
Cranked for wall mounting
Covered with a plastic cap on top
Extended with a 45-degree crank on top
Extended with a double (Y) crank on top
Panels:
The welded steel wires compose mesh panels through a 50x200mm mesh design which implements a special 3D profile to enhance reinforcement. The standard mesh panel width measures 2500 mm although fencing heights between 950 mm to 1950 mm are possible and multiple stacked panels enable construction of gates reaching up to 6000 mm tall. Anti-climb measures include:
30mm projecting spikes
Optional barbed wires (3 or 6 rows)
Barbed wire with concertina roll
Fittings
The posts receive holding strength from metal clips or flat bars which link mesh panels to them. Metal clips and flat bars should be attached with round head 8mm diameter bolts that have 400mm intervals between them.
Secure Fastening: Round head 8mm bolts attach clips/bars at 400mm intervals for firm support.
Tensile Strength: Min. 500 N/mm²
Welding Strength: 50% of total tensile strength in accordance with EN 10223-7
Finishing Options
Hot-Dip Galvanizing
The steel components need hot-dip galvanizing treatment in compliance with BS EN ISO 1461 for extended durability through enhanced corrosion resistance.
Powder Coating
The components need to align with BS EN 13438 standards for hot-dip galvanizing with high-quality powder coating that enhances durability and appearance.
Marine-Grade Protection
A specialized marine-grade coating system must be applied to outdoor elements located within 500 meters of saltwater or estuarine since it provides strong protection against salt-induced corrosion.
PVC Coated
The PVC coating applied to the Welded Mesh Fence 3D50™ Fencing System offers several advantages with corrosion resistance in addition to durability and smooth surface features which create a lasting protective appearance.
