Line Post
The line post is a critical component of the Saudi Aramco Type 2 Fence system, providing essential structural support and alignment. Measuring 3400 mm in length with a diameter of 60 mm and a wall thickness of 3.91 mm, these posts comply with ASTM A-53 Sch.40 standards, ensuring high tensile strength (minimum 330 MPa) and yield strength (205 MPa) for long-term durability and corrosion resistance. Properly spaced and anchored, line posts maintain fence stability, prevent sagging, and evenly distribute tension across the chain link fabric for optimal security and performance.
Corner, End and Strainer Post
Corner, end, and strainer post are the most focal points of the Saudi Aramco type 2 Fence system, extending sturdy structural support and security. These posts measure 3400 mm in length with a diameter of 73 mm and a thickness of 5.16 mm. All strainer, corner, and end posts comply with ASTM A-53 Sch.40 standards and have a minimum tensile strength of 330 mPa and yield strength of 205 MPa, which acts as a strong corrosion-resistant. The corner post maintains the alignment and stability of the fence. A strainer post or line tension post holds the fabric tension along the stretches to avoid sagging. In the last, end posts are fastened to secure the end of chain link fabric and support gate installations.
Fittings
In all of Hitech’s Aramco fencing system all the fittings, including round bands, offset bands, stretcher bars, carriage bolts, truss rods, turnbuckles, and nuts, are curated in compliance with the ASTM F626 standard.
Wire Enhancements
Chain Link Fabrics
Saudi Aramco Type 2 Fences are composed of chain link fabrics that are not only powerful security barriers but an aesthetic element to your landscape. These are curated with a 50x50 mm diamond mesh pattern, fabric of 2400 mm height, and comply with ASTM A392 standards. The top and bottom of the fabric are machine twisted to foster a barbed finish, cutting the wire at an angle.
Stirrup Wire
These wires are attached to the fences to provide additional support and attachment points. It is often connected to the vertical post to the mesh or chain-link fabric. It clinches to the high stress point of the fence to distribute load and pressure evenly across the structure. This fencing system is strong resistant against deformation and damage, defying the intervention of external forces.
Barbed Wire
The Saudi Aramco Type 2 fence system incorporates barbed wire at the top of the fence to add a layer of security by fostering a hazardous boundary. It consists of two twisted strands of galvanized steel that have a nominal diameter of 2.5 mm. To add a layer of security, four barbs each of 2 mm nominal diameter are interlocked with main strands, equally 101 mm spaced apart.
Tension Wire
In chain link fencing, we use zinc-coated tension wire that adheres to ASTM A641/A641M, Class III standards. These wires are coated and galvanized, which enacts as the best resistance against corrosion, exuding durability. To maintain the structural integrity and robustness of the fence, the wire should have a nominal diameter of 4.5 mm.
Tie wire
Tie wire is used to fasten the mesh or chain link fabric to the post. It enfolds the fabric and tensions wire to the post that holds the fabric firmly in place. The tie wire for Saudi Aramco type 2 fencing must be galvanized in adherence to ASTM A641/A641M standards. The wire must have a nominal diameter of 3.0 mm that maintains the integrity of the structure and provides reliable fencing.
